Q. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER MY SESSION?
A. After your portrait experience I will contact you with a link to view your online gallery. This normally takes place a week after your session. At this point you can choose the two digital images which are included in the your initial payment. You will see a handpicked selection of 30 images from your session and decide which ones you would like to keep. These will be available to purchase at additional cost in a variety of formats.

Q. WHY DO I PAY FOR MY SESSION?
A. Payment for your session is required at the booking stage.

Q. DO YOU HAVE PARKING?
A. Yes – there is paid parking outside the studio and a carpark opposite the studio.

Q. WHEN DO I PAY FOR ADDITIONAL PRODUCTS?
A. Payment for any additional products is due in full at the time of ordering.

Q. WHAT IS THE ACCESS TO YOUR STUDIO?
A. The studio is on the first floor.
 
Q. WHAT SHALL WE WEAR?
A. Good preparation is the key to success. Wear something that you feel comfortable and confident in, and if it’s a group shot, try and coordinate with neutral colours.

Q. CAN I BUY JUST PRINTS?
A. No.

Q. CAN WE BRING PETS?
A. Yes, no problem.

Q. WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS NOT SUITABLE FOR OUR LOCATION PORTRAIT?
A. You can rebook, or change to a studio portrait on the same day if I have availability. 

Q. CAN WE BRING PROPS?
A. Yes – feel free to bring any props you like, as they’re a great way to add that personal touch to your images.

Q. CAN I SPLIT THE SHOOT WITH OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS OR FRIENDS?
A. Yes, you can. There’s no limit on outdoor shoots, but for indoor shoots in our studio, there’s a limit of 10 people.

Q. DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?
A. Yes – both professional indemnity and public liability insurance, as well as enhanced disclosure CRB status. The Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) is an Executive Agency of the Home office. This service enables organisations in the public, private and voluntary sectors to make safer recruitment decisions especially ones that involve children or vulnerable adults.

Q. CAN I BUY ADDITIONAL DIGITAL IMAGES?
A. Yes you can, and they all come with full usage rights.

Q. WHO OWNS THE COPYRIGHT TO MY IMAGES?
A. Alwin Greyson Photography Ltd retains all copyright.

Q. HOW LONG WILL OUR ONLINE GALLERY BE LIVE?
A. Your online gallery will be live for 1 month from the date your images go live.

Q. CAN I HAVE A PROFESSIONAL HAIR & MAKEUP ARTIST?
A. Yes. Please let me know at least 2 weeks prior to your session so that we can organise this for you.

Q. DO YOU SAVE OUR IMAGES SO WE CAN PURCHASE THEM IN THE FUTURE?
A. All purchased products are archived for a year from the date of your shoot. However, this is not a guarantee, and I accept no liability for lost images. Please note that any products that are not purchased will not be archived.

Q. DO YOU HAVE A PAYMENT PLAN AVAILABLE?
A. This is not something I offer at this time.

Q. CAN WE GET A REFUND ON THE PRODUCT ORDER WE PLACE?
A. All my products are made to order, I cannot accept returns. I will always do my best to accommodate my clients and resolve any issues with orders placed.

Q. WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
A. I offer a 24 hour cancellation/reschedule policy for all my portrait packages. Please note that your session fee is non-refundable.

PURCHASE AGREEMENT

– All print products are available in either colour, black and white or toned (sepia)
– Custom and larger sized products are available upon request
– Frame pricing includes frame, print and a single cut mount
– Our turnaround time is 4-6 weeks for all of our products
– All images are personally retouched and enhanced by Alwin

GIFT CARD POLICY

– All cards have no cash value
– Your card can be used against any of our products or as stated on the card. For online purchases please contact us prior to making a purchase
– Please bring your card along with you to your session/viewing
– Your expiry date is presented on the card
– Any outstanding balance will be given as a credit note to spend at Alwin Greyson Portraits
